The Mystics Way is a three-part monthly series where we journey into the classic Jungian Archetypes through the lens of our energetic layers of Magical Earth, the Illuminated Middle, and the Mystical Higher Realms.
Since their original inception by psychoanalyst Carl Jung in 1919, classic archetypes have been frequently used as a method of categorising patterns of behaviour. Archetypal energies represent both positive and negative qualities that emerge from the core of human experience. They provide valuable insights for self-awareness and assist with personal and spiritual growth through a deeper awareness of how they are playing out at a subconscious level.
Many of the traditional Deities, Gods & Goddesses, characters in myth and folklore through the ages, like the knight in shining armour and the wicked witch, are based on an archetypal system of classification. Whether female or male, young or older, these qualities exist within us all.
